Dear Sawmill Family,
As we enter the second half of the year, I want to take a moment to share some exciting highlights, updates, and an important reminder about the values that hold our community together.
June Survey Results – Another Strong Month!
I’m proud to report that our June guest satisfaction surveys are in, and the results are something to celebrate:
Overall Company Average: 3.6 (B+)
Staff Friendliness: 3.8 (A)
Food & Beverage: 3.5 (B+)
Maintenance: 3.3 (B)
Reservations: 3.8 (A)

Congratulations to every department—these scores reflect your dedication to providing our guests with an above-average experience, and we’re pushing ever closer to that overall A grade.
June Financial Snapshot – Growth and Strength
Our financial health is a core pillar of our long-term success, and I’m pleased to report that our Net Operating Income is up 65% year-to-date compared to 2024, .expenses are down 6%. INCOME UP- EXPENSES DOWN!
Some key highlights:
Payroll has been reduced by 8% without sacrificing performance
Revenue growth is trending across nearly every department
We continue to work hard to ensure Sawmill is not just a fun place to live, work, and visit—but also a resilient, well-managed business built to last.
New Store Coming Soon at Lucy’s
Construction is nearly complete on a new retail section inside Lucy’s. We believe this addition will significantly boost retail revenue and provide our guests with a more diverse and inclusive selection.
Papi Glow Weekend – August 8–10
Get ready for a mini summer holiday in August! Agular Salud and Leo are teaming up once again to bring you another unforgettable Weekend:
Papi Glow Weekend will run August 8–10
Expect high-energy events, sponsored activities, and amazing entertainment
Help us spread the word—this is one you won’t want to miss!
Dog Park Relocation
The Dog Park will be temporarily relocated to the area behind Lucy’s while we continue work on our septic in that area.
Well Update
As of July 17, our engineering firm has all the required data and will be submitting the permit request to the County. Thank you again for your patience—this has been a long road, but we’re making meaningful progress.
A Serious Note – Respect in Our Community
I want to address an alarming trend we’ve observed the past few weeks: There have been multiple reports of demeaning and disrespectful language towards and about our staff, and in some cases, about other residents—loud enough to be overheard by visiting guests.
Let me be clear:
For guests, we have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect toward staff or others.
For residents, while you may be more familiar with the environment, it’s important to remember that we are a community, and our behavior reflects directly on the experience we provide to guests.
If you ever have an issue with a neighbor or staff member, my office is always open. We resolve things best face-to-face, with kindness and honesty.
“We don’t have to think alike to love alike. A strong family isn’t one without differences—it’s one that chooses unity anyway.”
We have so much to be grateful for:
Excellent financial health
High-performing guest surveys
A dedicated and passionate team
A community that’s unlike any other
Let’s continue to build on this momentum—together, as one Sawmill family.
With gratitude ,Justin Pamplin

Hello friends, this is a great article that I enjoyed reading, but I came here to ask how to choose a reliable online casino: the main signs of security. If you can advise me, I would be very grateful.
Thank you, Justin, for such a positive report. Good news is always appreciated. I don't think it is a good idea that people are disrespected at any time in our community. Sometimes the smallest comments can be overheard and by time it reaches around camp it is ten time worse. There are enough forces that would love for this community to meet its' demise. Let us not help them!
